The organic nature of strategy, writing, and implementation combined with the emphasis on application of concepts to your unique business situation means the timeline is a little fluid. Below is an approximate sequence for the areas of focus and content covered:

Timeframe

6 months: March 29 – September 30, 2023

MONTHS 1-2
Messaging Creation + Evolution:
  • Get clear about what you do and who you’re for so you stand out with authority and you're reaching out to and engaging with the right people
  • Know your unique value so you feel confident about what you charge, quit competing on price, and charge more without clients balking at your prices
  • Learn how to blend your language style with the words your customer uses so your messaging feels personable and resonant to your ideal client
  • Craft the language to expertly respond to the ‘What do you do?’ question in all its many forms
  • Develop key messaging components such as offer descriptions, customer-centric intro, professional bio, headlines, and calls-to-action to use in a variety of situations
  • Have the words to position and present your offers in their highest value so prospects can quickly see you’re the obvious solution to meet their needs
  • Know how to pique your prospect’s interest, keep them reading, and feel clear about the next step they can take on their way to becoming your client
MONTHS 3-4
Your Clear Path to Clients
  • Develop your CLEAR PATH TO CLIENTS—your primary client attraction plan (aka "lead generation strategy") that is your most viable and direct route to paying clients taking into account your strengths, your vision, your business model, and the resources you have available so your marketing feels productive and calm
  • Start putting all the client-attracting words you've written into your website, proposals or slidedecks, social media, and/or other communication channels
  • Outline your ideal client flow from introduction to high-end offer in a way that supports them at each stage of their decision-making process
  • Plan and prep for the necessary materials you’ll need to work your Clear Path to Clients which could be a new website, a lead magnet funnel, referral system, or sales assets
MONTHS 4-6
Messaging Implementation + Marketing Mentorship
  • Work your Clear Path to Clients strategy, using the new messaging you've developed and iterating as needed based on feedback 
  • During this time we may be assisting you with production and technical support for your marketing collateral so you have what you need to be successful in your outreach efforts
  • Celebrate progress and know exactly what to focus on next to continue developing YOUR business and YOUR vision

By the end of CAA, you’ll have successfully sold the toughest person on your biggest offer, the person with the strongest objections, and the one who’ll be your greatest client ever—YOU!

When you’re sold on how amazing your offers are and you have the actual words to communicate their value, selling becomes a fun and productive conversation.

Program Structure

CAA is designed to offer a combination of 1:1 and group support so you get the intimacy of private attention along with the incredible insights, knowledge base, and camaraderie from a business mastermind of your peers.  

  Private Strategy Sessions (1:1 with Lisa) at specific points during the program

  Group Sessions* with a mix of training and hotseats (weekly — typically Wednesday afternoons Pacific Standard)

  Personalized feedback, copy reviews and copyediting on your business communications (website pages, emails, proposals, campaigns, etc.) throughout the week via Looms and Google Docs

  Cohort-specific online community for additional feedback and support from peers plus other resources as needed that are not already a part of the core curriculum (available 24-7 throughout the program)

  Resource library with templates, swipes (real-world winning examples), worksheets, and pre-recorded trainings (updated periodically and available in perpetuity)
